The base of many Halloween costumes can come from things that you already have lying around the house. You may have to go to the store and pick up a few items to bring it to its greatest potential but you’ll still be saving a lot of money!
Take this one for example! Blow up some balloons and stick them to you and voila! You’re a bunch of grapes! Ok, it may be a bit cheesy but if you need something quick, it’ll do.

Find a Costume at a Local Thrift Store
Second hand stores offer great ways to save money. They often have a lot of actual used Halloween costumes that come in that you would find in a costume shop. Why not get it used and save a lot of money? If they are selling them in the second hand store they are also probably in good condition as well. For example, here at the Arc Store we only sell quality, used products that show no wear and tear and are clean.
Also, you don’t always have to look for a costume that is completely put together already. Go to your local thrift store and use your imagination! Find an old 80s style dress and rock an 80s prom look or get some suspenders, khakis and a bow tie and be a nerd!
