DONATIONS

DONORS LIKE YOU MAKE THE ARC POSSIBLE

Donations to The Arc of Butte County help our community in many ways. The Arc Thrift Store was established to provide work experience to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The money generated from our store helps fund Arc programs, creating opportunity and enhancing the lives of those we serve.

Because our mission is so important, we ask our donors to adhere to the following:

DONATION GUIDELINES

  • All items must be in reasonably sellable condition, with no need of extensive repair or cleaning
  • Receivers and managers have the final say if any items are not appropriate for donation
  • While we are beyond grateful for the items that we receive, we do urge our donors to please double check your donations before they come in as we receive an excess of "unsellable" items. The more money we spend on garbage fees, the less that goes towards Arc's vital programs
  • We must maintain safe walkways and may not accept any categories (clothing, books, etc.) where we have reached capacity for storage until enough has been processed to create space - Donors may always call ahead to see if we have reached capacity in any categories (530) 343-3666
