In both of these pictures Tara is wearing formal dresses that may seem out of style at first glance but they are perfect to use for a Halloween costume. You can dress your costume up with jewelry and props found at second hand clothing stores. Everything in these pictures was provided by the current merchandise at the Arc Store in Chico. Costume Tip: hone in on the princess’ knack:

For example, Snow White should have an apple, Cinderella should have a glass slipper and Aurora should carry a basket. Second hand stores are great for props of any kind. Whether you are looking for a little something to set off your costume or you are in a major production looking for stage props. This is a great way to save money!

Jasmine is dressed as a Hercules Muse. It’s as easy as this: vintage cream dress, beaded belt and gold jewelry, all found at the Arc Store in Chico. Be creative! We have repurposed necklaces as headbands, used dresses that were cool in the 80’s and completely utilized used merchandise. Just look how good these costumes turned out!
